短歌行不行

短評《the secret life of  walter mitty》

本片在imdb獲得將近8顆星的好評，確實如此，

筆者在台北誠品看到大電視預告後，就直覺本片值得一看，

更何況ben的喜劇沒有幾次讓筆者失望。

就勵志喜劇而言，本片看完讓人熱血沸騰，會讓你想起「坐而言不如起而行」這句話，

你也會馬上想出門走走、環顧四方，看有哪些平常不敢作的事情。

相關勵志的評論網路很多，筆者就不再贅述，

本片的劇情也讓筆者想起ben的舊片-《along came polly》，

ben在裡面飾演一個風險試算員，作任何事都要用他的風險評估軟體試算，包括把馬子。

polly和要保鉅額保險的大老闆就開始引導他進入「人生不需要太多評估」的冒險生活。

有點類似的劇情，不過評價卻差了兩顆星，

或許落入愛情俗套公式的電影會讓人不自覺給予過低的評價。

兩部電影的名言都在後段，

《polly》是主角向來沉默的老爸點醒主角和「兔子腳」，

"It's always the same story with you, huh, pal? You did this one movie a hundred years ago. From then on, you thought you were better than everybody else. Why don't you let go? Move on with your life? It's not about what happened in the past, or what you think might happen in the future. It's about the ride, for Christ's sake. There is no point in going through all this crap, if your are not going to enjoy the ride. And you know what? When you least expect something great might come along-- something better then you even planned for. You were funny as hell playing those bagpipes, though. Did I ever tell you that?"

然後ben恍然大悟跑去追妹，拜託兔子腳代替他開會。

在會議室，兔子腳影帝支支吾吾了一陣子才痛快剴陳：

All right, we all need to look into our hearts and go, Do I think this dude is gonna die in a few years or not? Is old Leland here gonna fight off a man…who goes by the last name Reaper first name Grim? Or will this BASE-jumping crocodile-wrestling shark-diving volcano-luging bear-fighting snake-wrangling motocross-racing bastard die?

而《mitty》是ben被炒魷魚後拿25號作品回去公司給大鬍子主管時的肺腑之言。

首先ben問life的motto是什麼？大鬍子主管根本不知道，就隨便回了麥當勞的slogan。

ben就不客氣的開砲：

That's not it. That's McDonald's. This thing that you do, Ted, where you come into a place and push people out, you should know those people worked really hard to build this magazine. They believed in the motto.And I get it, you've got your marching orders and you have to do what you have to do, but you don't have to be such a dick. Put that on a plaque and hang it at your next job.

雖然主角依然中年失業，但至少他找回了尊嚴，把到了熟女，不再是過去那個窩在辦公室、只會做夢的單身宅男。

本片另一個簡短感想就是，歐美公司福利、遣散費給的似乎不錯，life雜誌的舊員工沒幾個擔心失業，

在台灣大概就是包圍公司抬棺、丟雞蛋抗議了。
